Entertainment for 2012:

We have some great entertainment lined up for you at the 2012 Havelock Mussel Festival, and ... It's St Patrick's Day!

So dress in your favourite green-lipped outfit and we'll see you there!

 MADE IN NEW ZEALAND

...bringing together some of our finest musicians, this collaboration is sure to get the crowd up and dancing!

Performing all of your old favourites, there'll be something for everyone, whether its the smooth soulful tunes of Frankie Stevens, the upbeat rockin' tunes from Jackie Clarke & Rikki Morris or the charistmatic Shane Cortese ... we know you'll love 'Made In New Zealand'.

It wouldn't be St Patrick's Day without an Irish Band!!

This four piece from Wellington blend traditional Irish instrumentation with contemporary songs.  You'll love the haunting sounds of the fiddle, Celtic whistles and mandolins with soaring vocals and solid drumming ... a toe tapping good time and impossible not to be dragged to the dance floor for a good ol' Irish time of it!

MULLETTMAN

Inspired by power ballads, sports heros, earthquakes and the adoration of his fans, Mulletman crafts his shows with infectious and masterful charm.  Life styling the most awesome hairstyle ever in the world, Mulletman captures imagination; he is skillful, seductive and cheeky.

He rides the tallest unicycle some people have ever seen, just so the mullet has a better chance to blow in the wind and realise its full potential.  An endearing, award-winning international performer, Mulletman has entertained in and around NZ, Australia, Asia, Britain and the Arab Emirates.

You'll love this guy!!

BRETT MCGREGOR

Brett enjoyed the Mussel Festival so much last year - he's back again!!  You'll see him cooking up a storm in the Regal Salmon Cooking Demonstration Marquee, with delicious Marlborough Mussels & Salmon.  The Cooking Demo's will be matched with mouth-watering wines from Yealands Estate.

Each year the cooking demonstrations are packed to the rafters so get in early to get a good seat!

CHRIS FORTUNE

Featuring in our Regal Salmon Cooking Marquee once again is local cooking sensation Chris Fortune.  Chris will involve a few lucky primary school students from around the region, as he demonstrates his tasty ideas for incorporating seafood into your meals at home.

NIWA KIDZONE

The Havelock Mussel Festival is a family-friendly event, offering just as much fun for the kids, as there is for the grown ups!

The Niwa Kidzone offers some free entertainment for the kiddies - bouncy castles, facepainting, stiltwalkers & PomPom the Clown.  And for parents with very young children, Barnardos will be there on the day running a parents area for feeding/changing etc.  So get along to the Havelock Mussel Festival with the whole family!
