 Another year has been and gone and what a day it was!

With over 5000 people attending the 2013 event it really was a spectacular day full of fun, food and that famous festival atmosphere. It was a great family environment to celebrate all things Mussels.

Back by popular demand was the Marine Farming Association Industry Marquee where you could go behind the scenes into the Mussel Industry and see how intricate this delicacy is. It was wonderful to see so many people utilising this area.

Another favourite back this year was the Competition area where we got to see teams and individuals battle it out to be crowned the winner of the KONO Mussel Opening Competition.

Of course as well as the excitement of the competition element and the Industry marquee was the live entertainment throughout the day with the beer and wine flowing, sun shining and Ray Woolf singing it was a recipe for success.

We would like to thank you all for attending this annual community fundraiser and hope to see you all back in 2014 for another day of celebration in the Greenshell Mussel Capital of the world...Havelock.
