A Seafood Sensation
The annual Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival is a vital part of Marlborough’s summer and its back for the 19th year, Saturday the 11th of March 2023 at the Havelock Domain.
Located in Havelock, the gateway to the picturesque Marlborough Sounds, its the perfect way to enjoy fresh seafood, alongside great kiwi music and entertainment for everyone.
As well as the native NZ Green Shell Mussel the festival also celebrates New Zealand King Salmon and the Pacific Oyster which are also grown in the pristine waters of the Marlborough Sounds.
The Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival is a family friendly event, with something for everyone from cuisine to culture and much more in between.
The Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival is a community not-for-profit event and has been contributing back to the local community since 2004.

With the cancellation of the Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival 2022, we are looking forward to hosting an incredible day for everyone for the upcoming festival.
We are stoked to be able to confirm that Kiwi Legends Jordan Luck Band and Celebrity Chef Simon Gault will be back for the 2023 festival which is scheduled for Saturday the 11th of March, with more entertainment to be announced closer to the date.

TIME: 7pm - 8pm (ish)
LOCATION: The Bowling Club, Havelock
AGENDA: A Short AGM followed by a "community ideas" discussion.

Community Grants
Since 2004, the festival has contributed over $300,000 back to the local community through their community grants.
With the cancellation of the festival in 2022, due to covid-19 unfortunately, no grants were given out.
Applications for the 22/23 year open on the 1st of May 2023 and close the 28th of June 2023.
